Stress Management Workshop at GMR Infra, Bangalore
This is the 4th stress Management workshop I have done for GMR and it gets better and better each time. I started realizing that conducting personal growth workshops is actually a performing art and the performance gets better and better with practice. I also notice the synchronicity in each workshop. While I do have an agenda and time line, the way each workshop flows is different - like each river has a unique course. Like all rivers do reach the ocean, all events help the unique journey of each participants to the ocean of Awareness and the deep stillness within.
I started the practice of Pranayama when afflicted by ischemic heart disease in 1987. This was a turning point in my life and led to the path of holistic healing. Healing this 'incurable' disease spurred me on to explore other inner growth practices. For more than two decades, I have been practicing pranayama, deep relaxation, meditation and other techniques with remarkable benefits. I quit my job and started living in Auroville to explore alternate modes of living. Facilitating Personal Growth programs is very interesting to me and more than a thousand people participated in my workshops/retreats.
I studied in AU College of Engineering (B.E) and IIT, Kharagpur (M.Tech). I served in the Indian Navy from 1970 to 1991 and received the Visisht Seva Medal from the President of India. Prior to joining Auroville, I worked for 16 years in top R&D management positions such as the Director of R&D of D-Link India, JCPE of CRISP/IISc, Vice President(Software) of Cirrus Logic India and General Manager (R&D) of BPL Telecom Ltd.
I was a Seminar Leader in Landmark Education from 2000 to 2003.
